The space at 144 Edward St, Brisbane, was completely refurbished and custom fit to accommodate our growing team. For the first time FDB had the opportunity to create a tailored space that defines and expresses the brand, marking an exciting new chapter in our story.
Doubling as workspace and showroom, the new office provides a convenient city location for clients to experience our product range first-hand.
Our aim was to create something that showcases and celebrates what we can achieve and the products and services we offer.
This includes having the full range of office areas, from workspaces and meeting rooms to kitchen and bar, as well as a dedicated showroom space and display wall. Visitors can see furniture being used as intended and every piece is carefully selected and customised to showcase its full potential.
The palette throughout borrows brand colours with black contrasting against light woodgrains and neutrals, with gold detailing adding a touch of luxury.
Here in the main work area staff are equipped with multi-monitor setups attached to electric standing desks. The custom tops showcase vertical woodgrains and black sharknose edging.
Acoustics are used extensively throughout the office to improve ambience and as a design feature. The kitchen wall features grooved acoustic panels with a timber print for a stunning, natural effect that helps to lighten the space and complement the curved partitioning.
Our showroom space with its lush green wall is regularly rotated to showcase new products and pieces of interest for clients.
Multiple breakout spaces and pod areas showcase how furniture can be used to create a variety of spaces for both employees and visitors to enjoy.
